Soil for Life is a Non-Government Organisation and an Association Not-For-Gain registered under Section 21 of the Companies Act. Our Vision is to significantly improve the nutritional and economic status of individuals and communities through the development of human potential whilst balancing human needs with Natures capacity to sustain life. We aim to do this by educating and training people in organic food gardening using water wise, low cost, environmentally friendly technologies in order to maximise the production of vegetables, fruit and herbs.

Project Description
Erect nursery, dig and fill trenches, prepare beds, plant seeds and seedlings, mulch and water.
Beneficiaries
Unemployed, the elderly, families of all ages, and those suffering from illnesses such as TB and HIV Aids.
Impact
It will provide the infrastructure to develop a garden which will supply the community with fresh, organic produce in a small space of time and a nursery where plants can be produced for stock and resale which will generate an income so that participants may become self-sufficient, healthy and positive contributors to society.
